ABOUT

THE XAM XAM

The Xam Xam (formerly MMO Bits) is an MMO Gaming focused blog, created by Xam Xam, featuring content primarily for Star Wars The Old Republic, Elder Scrolls Online and New World: Aeternum. The site features a mix of news, reviews, opinions and guides.

Which MMO’s does Xam Xam cover?

Xam Xam created content from Star Wars The Old Republic and currently creates content for Elder Scrolls Online, New World: Aeternum and Dune Awakening.

What happened to MMO Bits?

MMO Bits was renamed to The Xam Xam in July 2025. This was done because Xam Xam didn’t like the name MMO Bits and because she wanted to diversify the content she creates beyond MMO’s.

OWNER – XAM XAM

My name is Rachel, but online, I go by Xam Xam. I’m a ‘thirty’-something-year-old Aussie. I previously wrote a Blog for 3 Years called Xam Xam Says before creating MMO Bits in 2017. MMO Bits was renamed to The Xam Xam in 2025.

I created MMO Bits as a hobby project born out of a passion for SWTOR and making content for the game and the desire to eventually expand into creating content for other MMO’s. I renamed MMO Bits to The Xam Xam to enable me to diversify the content I create. I have no expertise in website creation and development. I rely on plugins but am slowly teaching myself all the ropes and hope to eventually be able to turn The Xam Xam into an incredibly well made, quality website.

Since SWTOR introduced me to the MMO genre, I have gone on to also play WildStar (RIP), Elder Scrolls Online (currently playing), New World: Aeternum (currently playing) and Dune Awakening (currently playing).

My main content focus in MMO’s these days is PvP, Housing, Overland and Fashion but I occasionally do PvE.

ENGLISH UK

Language

English Australian/UK is the primary language used on this website. However, since the games covered use English – US, it is likely there will be some overlap and minor inconsistency in terms of spelling and grammar. So you may see some English – US and English – Australian/UK used interchangeably even in the same articles. Both languages have different spelling and grammar conventions.

Xam Xam created MMO Bits to expand her content creation into in-depth guides and articles about SWTOR in 2018.
