New World Aeternum Content and Abbreviations Dictionary

Have you ever been reading chat in New World Aeternum and wondered what content people are are recruiting or asking an invite for? This guide is here to help you decipher the various abbreviations players use. Most abbreviations are utilised to recruit players for various types of content across the game.

Most of the content in the game can be accessed via the Activity Finder, but some content is also overland eg. ECRs.

When you see someone type x or + than an abbreviation that mean they are asking to be invited to particular content.

Since the game is no longer receiving updates, I have realised this guide unfinished (T, W & Z don’t have maps where relevant) just because… This will probably be my final NWA guide.

• Infix – a unique perk found on select gear pieces, set bonus gear or artifacts
• Influence Race – (Race) Open World PvP event that allows companies to compete for Territory Ownership. The faction and company with the most influence can declare war on the Territory. All players who participate get rewards. Influence earned mainly via PvP Faction Missions but also very small amounts from Influence Tower Control and Fort Control.
• Invasion – a PvE event where corrupted forces invade a Territory Fort in waves, up to 50 players can defend the Fort. You can sign up via the Warboard or by clicking on the settlement on the Map.
