Combat Trophies in New World Aeternum are items you place in your houses that give you damage bonus based on enemy type. Combat Trophies are essential for endgame Trials (Raids) and Mutated Expeditions (Dungeons) to help you get extra DPS. This guide will show you how to craft Combat Trophies and where to get the materials needed to craft them.
What are Combat Trophies?
Combat Trophies are items you place in your player houses that give you a damage bonus. There are a total of six different Combat Trophies one for each enemy type.
- Ancients
- Angry Earth
- Corrupted
- Human
- Lost
- Wildlife
The damage bonus you receive depends on the tier of the trophy. There are three tiers of craftable trophies, each trophy type requiring higher tier and rare materials to craft them.
Damage Bonus Per Trophy

You can have up to five DIFFERENT trophies per house and own a maximum of three houses. This gives you a total of 15 trophy slots, HOWEVER you can only have ONE TROPHY of each damage type PER HOUSE. For, example you can have three Lost Trophies, one in each of your houses, for a combined damage bonus.

How to Craft Combat Trophies
Combat Trophies can be crafted at the Workshop crafting station and are crafted with the Furnishing Tradeskill. You need to be at certain levels in the Furnishing Tradeskill to be able to craft different tiers of trophies. For higher tier trophies, the schematic will not appear in the schematic list unless you have the specific rare material needed to craft the Trophy (it must be present in Settlement Storage or in your Inventory).

All of the rare materials for Combat Trophies drop from specific bosses or enemy types and are unbound (can be listed on the Trade Post). Specific information for each Trophy type can be found below. All the bosses listed have a roughly 5 minute respawn time (except Baines who has a faster respawn time).

- A very rare drop from The Surgeon located in Reekwater at the Skyview Repose POI (the closest Fast Travel is Edgeflow Shrine).
- Can be crafted with 100 Ancient Mandible Shard which also drops from The Surgeon (pretty much a guaranteed drop).

- Can be crafted with 100 Ephemeral Seal Shards which also drop from Mordici (pretty much a guaranteed drop).

- Pristine Wolf Claw – a rare (kinda) drop from Wolf mobs. Wolf mobs are found in every zone except for Cutlass Keys and Elysian Wilds.
- Pristine Bear Claw – a very rare drop from Bear mobs. Bear mobs are found in high concentrations in Brightwood and Ebonscale Reach but can be found in most other zones too.
